I made the first bucket organizer pattern, the 5 Gallon Tote-all-Bucket, to carry my soft-dollmaking supplies to the
monthly meeting of The Fabricators, a great doll club in Little Rock.  I joined this group shortly before I retired from
nursing. The club members asked me to teach a class so they could make their own. They gave me a lot of
support with the development of this first pattern.  I had sewn since I was very young, first by hand, then on my
sister's treadle machine when she was not around.  I had made mostly garments and gift items when I had any
free time, and I had made one quilt top from fabric scraps from the dresses I had made for my two daughters.

The 5 Quart Jitter Bucket organizer pattern, featured in the September 2005
Sew News, was designed for smaller
projects, art supplies, jewelry tool
s and personal care items such as cosmetics or medications.  It's also a great
car caddy for water bottles, sunglasses and tissues.

The Mug Bucket has been received extremely well as a great, quick, and welcome gift.  The Sassy Kat Bucket for
kitty litter scoop buckets was designed at the request of many crafters and has been received well.

The Traveler is an organizer that can be worn under a coat and close to your body when traveling or used to keep
all your sewing or baby care items convenient.

The Badge and Jot will carry you to your next guild or festival in style. The Badge was inspired by Frieda Anderson,
fiber artist.   All have pockets aplenty for money, cards and pens.  Most of the patterns have been designed for

either my own or my friends'
needs as fiber artists.

The free
Walker Tote pattern has been a favorite for service projects for guilds as well as for individuals with
friends and families in need.
