I made my first doll – a Santa – several years ago and fell in love with Dollmaking. At our doll club, I noticed that we all brought a variety of tote bags and carriers, none of which seemed to totally meet our needs. I designed my own organizer on a 5 gallon bucket - the Tote-all-Bucket, and the club members asked me to teach a class so they could make their own. We had tons of fun, and I have taught classes since that time.
The new 5 Quart Jitter Bucket was designed for smaller projects, art supplies, cosmetics or for whatever you could possibly imagine. Two Jitter Buckets fit inside the Tote-all- Bucket, if you want to carry your smaller supplies inside the Tote-all-Bucket. Besides being great for arts and crafts, the Jitter Bucket makes a perfect holder for TV guides and remote controls and also makes great car caddies for your water bottle, sunglasses, tissues and so forth.
Both buckets are widely available in the paint departments at discount and hardware stores or can be recycled. The patterns are now carried in online catalogs and in fabric stores in several states. (You may also order direct using the mail order form.) They are fun and quick to make and make a great half-day class.
I recently retired from nursing, having worked as an educator, administrator and most recently as board of nursing staff and editor of a bimonthly magazine. I am always looking for a better way to do things and was quite innovative in the workplace and with fiber arts, having designed various patterns throughout my years of sewing. I have taken some art classes and have recently tried my hand at art quilts, which I find immensely satisfying.
My granddaughter is very involved with order fulfillment and design. The company is new and growing rapidly. Since I have more time to create, you will be seeing more attractive and functional items on this site. We love design and are always looking for that better way. Check back often! Georgia & B.G.
